Stewardship
The chairperson of the Finance and Stewardship Committee is Ken Carpenter. With an extensive background in Unitarian Universalism finances, Ken and his team organizes our annual stewardship campaign and special campaigns such as the capital campaign and Red Letter Envelope Fund. This committee works closely with our Treasurer and Board of Trustees on the budget planning process as well.

In addition to providing physical space for Fellowship activities, UUFD seeks to explore spiritual, ethical and intellectual questions with emphasis more on the questions than the answers. For our children, we want them to explore, at appropriate levels, the important questions in life. For our community, we seek to connect, provide intellectual and spiritual stimulation and support for those in need. All of these activities take the time, talents and treasure of committed fellowship members and friends.
Letter from Board of Trustees
The energy and dynamic of our shared community over the past year is manifest in many ways. Initiatives in last year's budget and plan have been realized, as we expand the reach and capacity of the fellowship. A modest professional staff now augments our lay efforts, largely dependent upon our members and friends, you and I. Each of you will recognize other advances over the past 12 months.
The annual pledge drive is of course the chance for your renewed financial commitment. Please inform yourself about new directions for next year and give as generously as you can. Our continuing efforts in the enhancement of spiritual growth and in support of a liberal religious voice in Durango will depend on your gifts.
But I hope you will also consider other volunteer roles: perhaps you can donate effort and time in religious education, hospitality, worship, landscaping, or social justice advocacy. These, too, are meaningful ways to contribute.
If you have any questions about the financial status or stability of your Fellowship, please ask. Valuing your friendship and thanking you in advance,
Brooks Taylor
President
