ADULT RE - NEW in FALL 2011

UU Tapestry of Faith Program is a lifespan curriculum for all ages. Please join Judith Reynolds and Terri Reherman beginning August 28th at 9 am as they introduce the “Faith Like a River” curriculum which will be used this fall in our first Adult RE class. The first meeting will be used to determine interest and a convenient 90 minute time block to meet on a regular basis. Please contact Terri at theresareherman@gmail.com if you miss the first meeting but would still like to be involved. For more information on Tapestry of Faith curricula, visit the Tapestry of Faith on the UUA Website.

Our Whole Lives (OWL)  is a series of sexuality education curricula for five age groups: grades K-1, grades 4-6, grades 7-9, grades 10-12, and adults. Times and dates vary.
Our Whole Lives helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. It equips participants with accurate, age-appropriate information in six subject areas: human development, relationships, personal skills, sexual behavior, sexual health, and society and culture. Grounded in a holistic view of sexuality, Our Whole Lives provides not only facts about anatomy and human development, but helps participants to clarify their values, build interpersonal skills, and understand the spiritual, emotional, and social aspects of sexuality.

More information is available at the UUA website- www.uua.org
