Annual Events

In addition to the current events on the calendar, throughout the year we have the following events:

Each Spring the Religious Education Director plans an intergenerational service to celebrate Spring. There are no RE classes on the day of an intergenerational service.

We also celebrate Easter with an egg hunt on Sunday morning after the service.

Each May we hold our annual meeting where Fellowship members approve the budget, elect Board of Trustees members, discuss the vision of our congregation and conduct any other business through a democratic process.

Each July, we enjoy hosting the Four Corners UU Retreat. Ken and Lois Carpenter provide the gathering space at Pinesong in Vallecito. We invite a visiting minister to hold a workshop and present our Sunday service next to the Pine River in the mountains.

Our Lifespan Religious Education program runs congruent with the school year, September - May.

The Frolic Auction is a fun time when we gather to bid on items available for auction to benefit special projects in the Fellowship.

As many members return from summer travels in September, we hold a water communion. This is one of our intergenerational services where children stay for the service and no RE classes are held.

Our Christmas Eve service has become a popular gathering. Designed for all ages, it is held on Christmas Eve and varies from year to year. There is no Sunday service on Christmas.
