The Hospitality Committee coordinates the fellowship time following Sunday services by arranging for and serving refreshments. The committee also organizes and hosts receptions for the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Durango Recital Series. With the Membership Committee, the Religious Education Committee, and other committees, the Hospitality Committee may coordinate some events for special occations, such as Members’ Birthdays Recognition, Mother’s Day, Sundae Sunday, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and other holidays.

Specific tasks of the committee include making coffee and other beverages, providing snacks, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, stocking the pantry, providing clean linens, and setting up tables and chairs. The committee provides hospitality services on the outdoor pavilion as weather permits. A subgroup oversees the scheduling and display of art exhibits.
